Notes: The contract was signed in April 1950 by Ernest Skinner & Son. When Skinner used the payments from Glens Falls to finish work on a previous organ and came up short, the project faltered. Carl Bassett assumed the assets of Ernest M. Skinner & Son and completed the contract, which was a rework of 1928 Casavant Op. 1226. Interestingly, the article in the June 1951 issue of THE DIAPASON announcing completion of the instrument makes no mention of Carl Bassett.

Two new chambers were constructed in the rear to accommodate the Echo and Antiphonal. One was in the north side of the balcony and the other was built "in the choir room above the chapel."

The organ was dedicated in a recital by the church's organist, Hugh Allen Wilson, on March 16, 1951.
